Toghill House Farm, Cold Ashton Bedrooms at Toghill House Farm, Cotswold Bed & Breakfast Accommodation, Cotswold Way

Toghill House Farm B&B has a long tradition of offering comfort to the weary traveller! Built in 1691, the house originally served as a resting house for monks travelling between Glastonbury and Malmsbury. Modern travellers are more likely to be travelling between Chipping Campden and Bath along the Cotswold Way National Trail (and monks are rarer nowadays).

Though the travellers have changed, the warm welcome and hospitality of Toghill House Farm has not. Visitors will find comfort, privacy and excellent facilities awaiting them in a setting that is a fine example of what draws countless visitors to the Cotswold Way each year. The farm's position commands breathtaking views towards the Welsh Mountains and the Wiltshire Downs. Visitors often stop here by choice, rather than because they have completed a day's walk, just to enjoy the location!

Rooms at Toghill House Farm are comfortable and tastefully decorated. We offer double or twin accommodation all with en-suite facilities. Our recently converted attic rooms can be combined to provide private accommodation for families with children whilst we offer low cost accommodation for children sharing a room with parents.

Toghill House Farm welcomes visitors with dogs and can also provide accommodation for riders with their horses. The farm itself has an all weather riding arena and a twenty four jump cross country course that follows the perimeter of the farm estate. The jumps on this course were constructed by Badminton's jump builders. The course is designed to be suitable for young equestrians, whilst being challenging!

Toghill House Farm is a working farm and guests are welcome to discover what modern farm life is like. Your hosts will be happy to show you around the farm, including Gloucester Old Spot pigs, some rare sheep breeds and some not-so-rare goats. For those interested, a stay at Toghill House Farm is a great opportunity to learn first hand how the countryside is managed and worked.

We would be remiss if we failed to mention the breakfast part of our Bed and Breakfast hospitality! Guests enjoy breakfast in our dining room with its cotswold stone fireplace and views of the grounds. Breakfast is prepared using our own farm produces as far as possible, ensuring ingredients are about as fresh as can be for extra taste. We cater for all types of dietary needs and preferences by arrangement.

Toghill House Farm offers flexible accommodation to suit walkers, riders and those on a short break to explore this fantastic part of England. If you are planning to visit us during a walk along the Cotswold Way, please contact us for details of how to get to the farm from the National Trail route.

We look forward to welcoming you to our farm.
