Cotswold Way Accommodation

The Cotswold Way

Horton Court

Another fine National Trust property which can be visited April to October on Wednesdays and Saturdays. This site contains a quality example of a Norman Hall at what is reputed to be the oldest rectory in the country.

Close by, and with open access, is Horton Camp another fine Iron Age hill fort.

These attractions are examples of the varied historic sites which the Cotswold Way National Trail includes. The area has a long history of occupation and human activity and a walking holiday along the Cotswold Way will take in everything from the Iron Age, through Roman occupation to the regency splendour of Bath.
